Warscars is all what Gronibard is not: old-school, “roots”, totally based on the aggression, the fast riffing and screaming vocals… But it’s also all that Gronibard is: a very good production (same studio), great musicians (among which CM of Gronibard / Sylvester Staline and GD of Gronibard, ex-Aborted).

The band released its debut MCD, “Killing rate: complete” (Bones Brigade records) on 2003 and a split CD with Leng Tch’e, still for Bones Brigade, on late 2006.

Since the guys’ will to put Gronibard as their priority as of 2007 and the loss of singer AV (who left for personal reason, but still plays in Gronibard), Warscars is quite “on hold”, but not dead for sure! Expect to hear more from them in the future!

Total Fucking Destruction is the brainchild of frontman / drummer Richard Hoak, a longtime member of Grindcore legends Brutal Truth. Centered around Hoak’s social criticisms and his breakneck, jazz-inspired drumming, Total Fucking Destruction pushes Grindcore into uncharted, open-minded realms. Musical influences include the raw power of old Napalm Death, the progressive approach of old Minutemen, and the glory of classic rock radio. The SF Weekly has characterized Hoak as “the Devil to Andrew WK’s angel.”

Since it has been around, circa 2000, Total Fucking Destruction never ceased to stress its audience with its very own expression of Grindcore: anguish-inducing, claustrophobic, psychologically harassing and nihilist. The band has released numerous versions of its demos, spreading the word worldwide, rereleasing them as EPs, tapes, CDr’s… all mean was used to attack each and every possible listener, unceasingly. And touring has always been approached in the very same manner, like the UK tour with Bones Brigade records’ own Sylvester Staline.

The band, in 2004, released these demos again, in their ultimate form, the “Compact disc v1.0″ demo-compilation (Bones Brigade records) and then focused on sharpening, over and over, their weapons of personal total fucking destruction.

2007′s “Zen and the art of total fucking destruction” (Bones Brigade records), the real debut album by Hoak’s special brigade of nervous benchmarking twisted the knife, slowly in every possible way. The claustrophobic and anxious video for “Armed response” depicting that asphyxiating feeling the band is making its listener endure to its paroxysm.

It took seven years to Hoak to define, refine, sharpen the style of his musical Beast until it exploded, out of control, at the audience’s face with this debut. The Beast once born started living for itself and Total Fucking Destruction released its second full-length, “Peace, love and total fucking destruction” (Bones Brigade records), the very next year, 2008, accompanied by a split 7″ EP with Agoraphic Nosebleed (Bones Brigade records, again).

Then the stressing fury started to explode at everyone’s face in every possible way: split 7” EP’s with fellow Bones Brigade recording artists, Spoonful Of Vicodin and Brutal Truth, a seat on Relapse’s “This comp. kills fascists 1”, a three way split 7” EP with Brutal Truth and Narcosis and a split 7” EP with Gardenbox were released between 2007 and 2010.

Besides all these releases, Total Fucking Destruction also had a split 7” EP with Japanese grinding legends, Unholy Grave, titled “Grind Eternal”, through Bones Brigade records, in 2009.

Early 2010, alongside their Japan tour and Maryland Deathfest appearance, Total Fucking Destruction also recorded a full-length worth of material as well as a a new video clip for a previously unreleased song out of these sessions.

2011: Total Fucking Destruction disrupts and destroys with the new album “Hater”, a furious and stylized experiment of post-apocalyptic groove, crushing pedal-to-the-metal grind together with rock, punk, jazz and thrash to form a powerful work of grindcore art.

Recorded and mixed at Mark-it-Zero Music Studios (Brutal Truth, Rumpelstiltskin Grinder, XXX Maniak, Vulcan, Old Head) by Dan O’Hare, “Hater” is a technical and accurate representation of the poetry of Total Fucking Destruction’s over-the-top message and in-your-face live performances.

“Hater” celebrates the slow motion apocalypse in true Total Fucking Destruction style: Fast, loud, brutal, spontaneous and deadly fucking serious; exploding with beauty and power. ”Hater” will change perceptions of TFD and grindcore. “Hater” will shout worldwide a message of peace, love and total fucking creation.

Says drummer/vocalist Richard Hoak (Brutal Truth): “Fuck Yeah!”

That’s the band bio as they put it together. These guys are unreliable boozed lazy fucks, but when it comes to Power Violence, Sylvester Staline (which features Cédric Méganck of Gronibard & Warscars) means intensity, unpredictable attitude, fast and fucking furious tunes topped with some of the worst tastes ever in terms of lyrics, topics and song titles. All of this combined is making this pack of junkies one of the leading forces of the genre.

The morrons from Northern France and Belgium released two split 7″ EP’s on Bones Brigade records (one with Inside Conflict, the other with Magrudergrind) as well as their debut full-length titled “Sylvester Staline gonna spread hard drugs to your stupid kids with the royalties generated by this CD”. How nice!

Late 2008, they released a split CDr with another Bones Brigade records’ pick, Joe Pesci and in 2009, Bones Brigade put together a Sylvester Staline vs. F.U.B.A.R. split CD.

With each former member’s influences into Death Metal, Grindcore, Crustcore or Hardcore, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition was formed, back in the end of 1996, with the idea of putting together their personal expression of the most extreme form of brutal music and, nearly 15 years later, each new release or live performance is still another step towards that goal.

Beginning their recording career with a split tape with France’s Infected Pussy in 1997, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition attracted the interest of Bones Brigade records’ which, a year after, released a split CD with Brazil’s Rot. The band concentrated on touring for quite two years before entering the studio to record their debut full-length, still for Bones Brigade records.

The album, tighter, faster, more brutal, was released in 2001, soon followed by a split EP with Brazil’s Lymphatic Phlegm. Osmose productions then signed the band and released their second (still untitled) full-length in 2003. A full US tour then followed, but times got hard when two members left the band. Anyway, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition never gave up and focused on writing new, even faster and more brutal, material before finding replacements.

That’s when Relapse released a split EP with Cripple Bastards (2006). Still lacking a drummer of their own, the band hired drummer-extraordinaire Dirk Verbeuren (Aborted …) to record, for Bizarre Leprous productions, their third album, « Inventory of fixtures » which was released in 2007.

Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition plays some of the most brutal and fast Death Metal / Grindcore you’ve ever heard, since the very beginning, and is pursuing its path towards ultimate brutality with writing its fourth full-length.

Rot is a Brazilian Grindcore band that started back two decades ago, in 1990. It has been formed by Mendigo and Marcelo who were already deeply active in the Punk and Metal underground scenes for playing in other bands and projects or making fanzines, trading tapes and keeping in touch with people around the world (remember that time before cellphones and the Internet ?).

The character of the band has developed from this strong involvement in the underground in general, although they can be hardly fit into Metal or Punk standards. Of course, over all these years a lot of things happened: Rot have released their stuff in an independent way, among which 1998′s split CD with Sublime Cadaveric Decompostion on Bones Brigade records, played many gigs in Brazil and toured Europe three times playing in countries such as Holland, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and Switzerland.

The lyrical part is very important to the band, showing a very sceptical, sarcastic and radical feeling towards life and society in general. Although the band was labelled as political, they never felt like this since we have a lot of personal and philosophical issues that makes the band identity even stronger.
