Cock and Ball Torture (CBT) was founded in early 1997. After six months of rehearsals the trio recorded a promo tape titled “Cocktales”. Due to the great response to the release, they decided to release it as a MCD on late 1998. The MCD sold out within six months. so it was re-released by Shredded.
Then came a split EP with Squash Bowels in may 1999. After short negotiations CBT signed to Subzeor records in september 1999. “Opus(sy)VI”, the band’s debut full-length, was released but, due to several problems, the album was finally licensed to Shredded records.
2000 saw the release of split EPs with Grossmember and Bones Brigade recording artists Last Days Of Humanity. While October 2000 saw the band sign to Bones Brigade records for the release of a split MCD with fellow German sadists Libido Airbag.
Bizarre Leprous then stepped in and released a four ways split CD with Downthroat, Negligent Collateral Collapse and Filth. The second album, “Sadochismo”, was releasaed in june 2002 on Ablated records as well as a MCD, nicely titled “Where girls learn to piss on command” on Stuhlgang records.
“Sadochismo” was rereleased in summer of 2003 by The Spew. In late 2003, the band signed to Morbid records. The next year, “Egoleech”, the band’s third and final full-length was released.
The band split up in 2007, the very day of their tenth anniversary, but, from time to time, they still manage to play some summer festivals together.
