Biography

Geneva, 2004, four guys unite their strength to create a new war machine. The band records its debut demo in january of 2005 and Mumakil rises in the Grindcore scene in Europe.

From January to March 2006, Mumakil are recording their debut full-length, “Customized warfare” and a deal with Blast Beat Mailmurder is signed to re-release the debut demo as the “Stop whining” 7″ EP. Then the debut is released through Overcome in October 2006 and they tour France with Bones Brigade records’ own Blockheads.

2007, Overcome records closes down. Mumakil then signs a deal with Caustic Rhythm which will re-release the album. Then they get back to the studio to record songs to appear on new splits (with Misery Index on Power-It-Up, with Inhume on Relapse and last but not least, with Blockheads, their long-time friends, on Bones Brigade records).

2008 sees Mumakil concluding a deal with Relapse for the next full-length, “Behold the failure”, which is released on March 2009 while, early 2010, Relapse re-releases, as a split 7” EP, the Bones Brigade records split with Blockheads.
