By next year, New Hampshire should have more than 100 new mental health beds to alleviate pressure on hospital emergency departments that are holding patients who need treatment.It’s part of an agreement between SolutionHealth, the owners of Elliot Hospital, and the state.This week, the executive council will vote on committing $15 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds for the project.The 125-bed facility will cost $60 million and is set to open in 2024. SolutionHealth has agreed to run the facility for at least 10 years.
