This week, Pat Walker Health Center’s Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) is giving away mental health kits to University of Arkansas students.
CAPS recognize students may be struggling right in the midst of navigating a truly one-of-a-kind fall semester, so the kits include some fun, light-hearted items such as hand lotion, sleep masks, lip balm, a coloring book, journal, , snacks and more.
Students that would like to pick up a kit can pick one up outside Pat Walker Health Center during the following dates/times:
- Monday, Sept. 28 — 2-4 p.m.
- Tuesday, Sept. 29 — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 1 — 10 a.m. to noon
Kits are first-come, first-serve — limit 1 per student. Only 300 kits are available.
COVID-19 precautions: Wear a face covering; maintain 6 feet social distancing; wash your hands or use hand sanitizer. Please do not stop by the pickup if you are sick. CAPS ambassadors will ensure frequently touched surfaces are cleaned. Student ID required.
