Fans of Canadian artist Justin Bieber have received some bad news regarding his mental health and his ongoing tour as the singer has announced the cancellation of all his concerts to prioritise his health.
Although in principle only the remaining dates of his ‘Justice World Tour’ have been postponed, this decision has been applied to all his concerts that were scheduled.
Justin Bieber, who turned 29 on 1 March, decided to cancel all the concerts in which he was touring the main countries of the world with shows in the United Kingdom, France, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark and the Czech Republic.
Not due to Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome
Although rumours suggested it was due to the syndrome that Justin Bieber suffers from, Ramsay-Hunt syndrome, all indications are that it is more to do with his mental health.
He was diagnosed with the syndrome a few months ago and cancelled some of his concert dates.
It is therefore not the first time that the Canadian has cancelled part of his tour due to health issues.
“We regret to inform you that Justin Bieber‘s shows, planned for The O2 arena, have been cancelled,” a statement from his promoter in London said.
“We understand your disappointment and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
The announcement was echoed by promoters in the respective countries where Bieber will be absent.
However, neither the Canadian personally nor his representatives have commented on the matter.
Justin Bieber: I need to prioritise my health right now
The statement also states that the money fans have spent on tickets will be refunded and, as mentioned above, this is not the first time Justin Bieber has been forced to cancel any of his dates.
“After I got off stage, the exhaustion got the better of me and I realized that I need to prioritize my health right now,” he said at the time.
“As you can see, this eye doesn’t blink,” Justin Bieber told his followers in an Instagram video about the Ramsay-Hunt syndrome.
“I can’t even smile with this side of my face, this nostril won’t move. I have total paralysis of this part of my face.”
