Today, Kate Middleton stepped out in support of one of her royal patronages, the Maternal Mental Health Alliance (MMHA), which is dedicated to support perinatal mental health. The Princess of Wales visited Colham Manor Children’s Centre in west London to meet with moms who have benefited from the organization’s work.

“We were delighted to invite our Royal Patron, The Princess of Wales, to Colham Manor Children’s Centre this morning to showcase the life-changing work happening in Hillingdon to support mums, babies and families impacted by Perinatal Mental Health problems,” the MMHA tweeted.

For her outing, the Princess kept things autumnal, wearing a green Hobbs coat and a $60 Mango green midi dress (which is now sold out in green, but is still available in caramel). She paired her outfit with a Jimmy Choo clutch and Gianvito Rossi pumps, and pear drop earrings from Kiki McDonough.

After her meetings, Kate met some young children—including a 3-year-old named Akeem. He asked her name, and she replied, “My name is Catherine.” He then pointed towards her poppy pin, which royals wear in November to honor fallen troops. Kate explains to the youngster, “Do you know what this is for? It’s for remembering all the soldiers who died in the war. There you go — that’s for you.”

“A wonderful first visit with the Maternal Mental Health Alliance this morning, seeing its work and the benefit a holistic approach brings to so many mothers and families,” Kensington Palace tweeted after Kate’s visit. “Spending some time with new mothers, understanding more about their experiences of mental health and how integrated services are making a real difference in the community.”

Kate was announced as patron in May, sharing, “We all know that pregnancy, childbirth and the first months and years of a child’s life can be hugely demanding. Parents often feel lonely and overwhelmed by these early years. Around 20% of women in the U.K. are reported to experience perinatal mental illness. Sadly, we also know that many more are suffering in silence.”

She continued, “No one is immune to experiencing anxiety and depression during this time. It is crucial, therefore, that all those who might be struggling are given the right support at the right time, so that they’re able to share these feelings without fear of judgment and can access the information, care and support they need to recover.”
