Kerri-Anne Kennerley is making sure that she’s going to be in the best possible shape for her career comeback.
The 67-year-old will be joining the cast of the stage musical Pippin, which opens at the Lyric Theatre in Sydney next month.
And in preparation, the former Studio 10 host is attending the Elysia Wellness Retreat in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
Packages at the centre cost up to $4595 a week per person, but are currently on sale for $3595 per week, per person.
The packages include spa and wellness treatments, seminars, nutritious meals and a ‘our holistic and natural approach to beauty’ in their spa.
PS Sydney reports that Kerri-Anne is on a strict vegetarian and alcohol-free diet at the centre.
‘I feel fabulous,’ she told the paper and said her preparation for the stage role has been, ‘a piece of cake’.
Kerri-Anne also took in some acrobatic training ahead of the musical in which she will pay Grandma Berthe.
On Thursday, she flaunted her figure in activewear as she showed off her acrobatic skills on a set of suspended ropes.
In the popular musical, an acrobatic troupe tells the story of Pippin, a young man who longs to find passion and adventure in his life.
The TV legend was been dumped from Studio 10 two months ago.
Kerri-Anne fought back tears as she addressed her sacking live on air, less than 24 hours after losing her job in a cost-cutting measure.
‘I just know I’m back on the “lazy Susan” of television. Yeah, it’s very, very tough for a lot of people,’ she said.
