Real Housewives star Tanya Bardsley ‘looks amazing’ after following a sugar free diet to help her mental health

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley says she feels ‘so much better’ after following a sugar free diet to help her mental health.

The mother-of-four has lost 5lbs on the plan and, although she admits to having slipped up a few times, she says her anxiety has been almost ‘nil’.

Tanya shared a photo of herself on Instagram looking amazing in figure-hugging leopard print trousers.

“@makemesugarfree results are starting to show I’ve lost 5lbs so far,” she wrote about her plan with Make Me Sugar Free..

“Even though I have slipped up a few times I feel so much better mood wise and anxiexty has been almost nil #ootd #sugarfree #diet #weightloss #aniexty #mood.”

“Looking lovely,” said one follower.

“You’re looking amazing xx” commented another.

“Aww so glad your feeling so much better that’s amazing congratulations lovely stay strong, you look beautiful,” another told her.

And her former co-star Leanne Brown responded with a stream of love heart-eyes emojis.

Tanya has been open in the past about her mental health struggles and earlier this year she opened one-stop hub offering workshops, events, pop ups and classes at her Wilmslow boutique to help others in a similar situation.

She previously spoke candidly on the hit show while feeling unwell during a girls’ holiday in Palma.

Tanya recently posed for a photoshoot for luxury wig specialists Hair Arvina with her look-alike teenage daughter Gabriella.

“Had the best day yesterday doing a shoot for @hairarvina with my baby girl @gabsxbardsleyxx” she wrote.

“You look like sisters not mother and daughter,” said one fan.

Tanya, the wife of footballer Phil Bardsley, will be back on our screens on Monday for the 12th series of The Real Housewives of Cheshire on ITVBe, which follows the lives of a group of wealthy and glamorous women living in Cheshire.

This series the ladies will be joined by new Housewife Lystra Adams.
