The next few days are going to be cloudy and the state will see scattered showers on Sunday and Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Tropical depression Delta is making its way across the Southeast. Delaware will see only small effects like some rain and clouds, with Sunday being the start of some showers. It will be a typical rainy, cloudy autumn day, said Patrick O’Hara of the National Weather Service.

Some parts of the state, particularly north in the Wilmington area, could see 3 inches of rain total in the next couple days. Other parts will see 1-2 inches overall, O’Hara said.
Temperatures are expected to go up to the low 70s for the next few days.
