FINALLY, the ultra-luxury One&Only Desaru Coast Resort is all set to welcome guests this Sunday (Sept 6). This is the first One&Only resort in Asia.

Spread across 128 acres of prime beachfront property in Desaru Coast , the all-suites resort comprises of 42 junior suites, two two-bedroom grand suites and the exclusive 1,500 sq meter four-bedroom Villa One.

All units boast private plunge pools, indoor and outdoor living spaces, decadent bathrooms and thoughtful Malaysian-inspired design features.

Designed by the award-winning Kerry Hill Architects, One&Only Desaru Coast celebrates the destination’s architectural heritage with a modern interpretation of the traditional Malaysian kampung.

Each self-contained suite is framed by nature, either facing the ocean or wrapped by rainforests.

The resort is also home to 80 species of flora and fauna and guests can discover a curated range of active and mindful pursuits to reconnect with nature.

Guided by the resort’s resident naturalist, Call of the Gibbons is an exciting signature experience for guests to discover the jungle surroundings and hear the morning chatter of the white-handed gibbons in the Panti Forest Reserve. 

There are activities for every age and interest, from state-of-the-art tennis and padel courts at Club One, intimate lessons of Silat Melayu and fun and educational programmes at KidsOnly, including learning about the local ecosystem at the EcoLab.

Guests looking to improve their vitality and performance can visit the Chenot Spa and experience a revolutionary scientific and holistic approach to health and wellness.

Chenot Spa offers a curated menu built around four pillars – sport and physical activities, emotional wellbeing, nutrition, and aesthetics – all designed to work in synergy to reset and strengthen body and mind.

The resort offers one, two and three-day programmes which include tailored nutritional menus, fitness schedules, targeted spa treatments and stress relieving activities designed according to individual needs.

Guests will also be able to further their wellness journey with bespoke nail care by Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio by Bastien Gonzalez.

The resort also boasts a fully equipped, state-of-the-art fitness studio, a specialist pilates studio and a yoga pavilion that overlooks the azure waters, providing an inspiring space for yoga and meditation classes.

The resort is now offering a Resident Stay package, with rates starting from RM2,100 per suite per night with breakfast for two adults until Dec 19 this year. Guest also get to enjoy 15% savings on Chenot Spa treatments and dining at its restaurants and bars.
